 Cardiac output

Cardiac output: is the volume of blood being pumped by the heart in one minute.

Cardiac output = Stroke Volume × Heart rate.

Cardiac output is usually expressed in liters/minute.

 Cardiac output is changed by change of heart rate and stroke volume.
